One of the core benefits of this design is that it provides a more natural rotational support that aligns with your natural body movement, due to the unique "free sliding" rods design. With this design, it is almost equivalent to putting your hands on your knees to rest, except you can still use your hands. This is opposed to existing designs on the market that use elastic bands which actually pull in straight lines, fighting against your body's natural rotational movement by pulling down on your shoulders. Most existing products are also made in limited generalised sizes, even though everyone's body is different. Our design is intentionally adjustable to perfectly align with almost anyone's body.

How it works

When bending down we do not exert too much energy, because we are moving towards the ground, the same direction that gravity is pulling us. However when we are getting back up, we must push against gravity. This device will store elastic energy as you bend down, releasing it as you get up, as if someone is pulling you up from the chest. We have measured this support force to be up to 9 kg, using a standard weight measuring device.

Upon purchase you will also receive a video tutorial on how to wear the product and adjust for the first time. Adjustment (fitting) only needs to be done once.
